One of the first mushrooms to appear in spring, the fairy ring mushroom
tastes just as good as it looks. The season is Spring and Autumn.
A light dusting with a brush might be necessary, but washing definitely
spoils the flavor. From a culinary point of view, this is a versatile mushroom,
going extremely well with meat and fish dishes as well as mixed mushrooms
dishes.
